I’m Carl Hartley; a radio broadcaster, journalist, podcast producer, and lecturer, who occasionally pops up in the odd TV documentary.

I’ve worked in broadcasting as a presenter and newsreader for more than 25-years working for some of the UK’s biggest broadcasters, including talkSPORT, the BBC and Bauer Media.

In 2025 I was filmed for two episodes of Sky’s Forensics: Catching the Killer, series 5. I’m also often asked to provide expert commentary on the broadcast industry and journalism through podcasts, articles and book chapters.
