About Me

I’m a broadcaster and journalist with more than 22 years of experience, working for some of the UK’s biggest radio stations.

I have a wealth of experience reading live news bulletins for both local and national broadcasters, presenting live programmes or reporting from breaking news stories working for industry leaders including the BBC, Bauer and News UK.

I’m regularly booked as a senior journalist for national broadcaster BBC 5 Live, reading the news to a UK audience.

I’m at home broadcasting LIVE on location or in the studio, interviewing politicians, sports stars and public figures. I’m just as comfortable talking to members of the public with a story to tell.

As a reporter, I am also skilled in producing articles and video footage for online and TV.

I am a lecturer in journalism at the University of Leeds, bringing my industry experience to the classroom.

I teach broadcast and digital journalism while also leading on digital education within the School of Media and Communication.

Away from work I’m a family man, love all sports and support Bolton Wanderers. I also spend my time running and compete in various marathons each year.
