Shiver me timbers!

A Bolton family have built a pirate ship in their front garden to celebrate Halloween.

The Brady family have created the 16 foot vessel on their lawn and are hoping to raise money for Bolton Hospice, who cared for Paul’s Dad during his last week’s battling with Cancer.

This “Halloween loving” family are notorious for decorating their house at Hardmans, Bromley Cross, with spooky decorations but this year they’ve taken the celebrations to new heights with their Pirates of the Caribbean theme.

The ship is crewed by skeleton pirates and has a working smoke canon that gives a really eerie affect at night.

Halloween is a special time for Paul and Simone who got married on the 31st October and it would have been Paul’s Dad’s birthday.

The family are encouraging people to visit and get pictures with the creation and asking for a small donation with the cash going to Bolton Hospice.

Have a listen to what their neighbours had to say and more of an insight in to this story.
